Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown Praises Community HUB Model in Video

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio posted a video message that paid tribute to the Pathways Community HUB model developed by Mark Redding, MD, FAAP, and Sarah Redding, MD, MPH. The model promotes quality care to measurably improve outcomes and links payment to performance.

Senator Brown noted the leadership the doctors bring to the Community HUB model has shown to be a proven success in tackling the problem of health disparities in low-income communities. He pointed out that to make real progress, innovative solutions are needed, and he hopes that the HUB model grows to encompass states across the country to help alleviate health disparities.

Both doctors will be panelists for the February 2017 webinar HUB Development & Certification: Existing & Emerging Initiatives, which is part of the broader roundtable series Using Cross-Sector Innovations to Achieve Health Equity, hosted by Westat’s Center on Health Disparities & Health Equity Research and the Rockville Institute.

The Pathways Community HUB Certification Program (PCHCP) is a program of the Rockville Institute. Dr. Sarah Redding serves on its leadership team.
