Children & Families

The Rockville Institute has substantive expertise on research to identify a range of problems affecting children and families, as well as to evaluate the policies affecting their services.

Challenging issues include child abuse and neglect, foster care and alternatives, public adoption programs, independent living services, missing children, runaway and homeless youth, and juveniles in residential placement for offenses. The Institute provides research design and analysis support to evaluate programs and services that can help shape Federal, state, and local policies.
